Students on the spring vacation course will benefit from a short but impactful experience in a typical British boarding school, with a real focus on authentic communication and developing study skills. Courses

Spring vacation courses: 30 March - 20 April 2025 for ages 11 - 17 years.

Combine learning English with activities and excursions, for one, two or three weeks. This course is suitable for international students who wish to have a taste of life in a British boarding school, and who are academically driven and ambitious.

Our general English course offers a mix of academic enrichment, social opportunities with international students, and cultural visits to some of Oxford's most known sites.

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire

Teddies is located in the lively urban area of Summertown, and is less than an two-minute walk away from the compact collection of cafes and quirky shops.

Oxford is only 5 minutes by bus or 10 minutes by bicycle from St. Edward's.
Access to: Oxford, London, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bristol, Bath and The Cotswolds.
Look beyond Oxford's spires and impressive history and you'll find a buzzing student community - almost a quarter of the Oxford population are students.
Summertown, found north of the Oxford city centre, is a vibrant and hugely popular business area and one of Oxford's most sought after residential areas.
Within a short walk from 'Teddies' you will find a number of cafes and restaurants, as well as some of the most highly regarded schools in Oxford, which draw families from around the world to reside in the area.
Summertown offers a wonderful sense of community and the shopping area situated along the Banbury Road offers a delightful area to enjoy a morning coffee, browse a number of individual shops or dine in one of the superb restaurants.
Oxford city centre is within easy reach from the regular bus services and the new rail station is found north of Summertown, offering links to Marylebone, London.

When you join us on the spring vacation course at St Edward's, you can immerse yourself in campus life by staying in one of the boarding houses.

Single, twin, triple and quad study bedrooms (some en-suite subject to availability).

All our Spires Plus Options take place in the afternoon during the hours of 2pm - 4pm.
